The Week in Review 02/19/2012
Hi Chris here,
This week another 30 day challenge group have completed the program and are now out in the big wide world doing what they love. Congratulations to; David, Mary, Diane, Malcolm, Rob, Shane, Pauline. The week was brisk and fun. It started briskly with enquiries from Canada and the USA for speaking engagements. I've also progressed the new book with another chapter drafted. Another five enquiries arrived for Nepal treks making a total of fifty people on the "maybe list" for May. This is normal and sometimes it even reaches 1oo with no commitments. It's a big trip and it's a dream so I don't try to pressure people to sign up. I just let it all unfold as it isn't a part of my profit making work, I simply love taking people there. Last week, coaching continued for a group of 27 entrepreneurs who have me on their coaching team. It's a great privilege to work with such amazing and inspired individuals. Teaching the World a New Way to Think is a great joy. I am so lucky to be given the gift to share it. Nature's Law is now finding voice in new books and blogs globally. Old clients report an increasing awareness amongst younger entrepreneurs and leaders. It's a real heartfelt feedback for what we've done. Add Comment This Week's Theme: Happiness 02/19/2012

Complexity is defined as imbalanced thinking. The more complex the situation the less balance we see. As the world is becoming more complex the need for a different way of seeing things is increasing. Finding balance is the key. This contradicts most conventional thought process often and is highly resisted by individuals whose ambition it is to seek adrenaline hype through every decision they make. At Innerwealth we have developed a sophisticated hand written balance form to help retrain those minds who are struggling to adapt. The focus of inner wealth is to build a better world. Our experience has proven to us that the best place to focus to create and fulfil this mission is at the individual level. Stressed, unhappy, unwell, tired and desperate people do desperate things and it's this desperation that triggers most of the ugliness that challenge the beauty of life. We all experience desperation from time to time so the question is more about how to deal with it effectively and permanently so that we don't make bad things worse. Most human development and motivational speakers focus on what to think. They teach you what thoughts create what outcomes in such programs NLP where we are given new thoughts. The laws of nature do not focus on what you think, they focus on how. A person who thinks with conventional process will be for ever committed to desperation in their own life or others. So to change desperation into inspiration we focus purely on how you think not what. Ultimately life is an experience. We all want that experience to be the best possible and to cause the greatest positive impact on those around us. We want to earn wealth and yet we don't want to make that wealth at the cost of love and family, or health or happiness. So ultimately it comes down to how you think and if we get that right then what you think becomes an individual choice based on a solid foundation. We suggest the universal laws of nature are the perfect foundation. We live in revolutionary times and our lives are being altered in ways we cannot predict. Every major institution is being transformed. Our most deeply held values are in dispute and the nature of personal relationships is changing drastically. Our capacity to feed and house ourselves, to live healthy and useful lives, to work productively with one another, and to pass on a decent world to our children, is in doubt but the life-force of global change is personal change, and the people who are changing in order to live productively in this new age can create extraordinary results.
I really recommend this video to those who may one day have to stand and share a brilliant idea with an audience that doesn't have to buy it. In a tiny village hidden from the advances of civilisation a community exists untouched by modern life. Fire is lit by striking rocks and food is picked from fertile forests. One could say, this community has never evolved. Is it good? Some think they should be left in their ignorance, a sort of bliss. But with child mortality over 50%, and life expectancy of 42, the idealisation of the un-evolved business, individual or community is it's inevitable destruction. When Evolve doesn't happen, change comes, and change means a lot of turbulence in a very short time: not fun. Evolve means immunity from change.
Adaptation means change happens amd then you adapt to it. A business or team that's in adaptation mode is being led by the nose through to the future. Dragged kicking and screaming through the process of evolving by competitive forces. Innerwealth teaches the 100% opposite. Innerwealth means ONE STEP AHEAD ... proactive prediction of market competitive force, person demands and consequential action. Simplistically, ONE STEP AHEAD means trigger the cause and benefit from effect rather than wait for the effect and then adapt. Eating ice cream makes you fat, so, instead of recognising you've become filled with mucous and you're getting fat before you stop eating ice cream, don't eat it and don't suffer the consequences. STAYING ONE STEP AHEAD - 20 Principles "Modern business is pure chaos. But those who adapt will succeed." This is the current byline for the world's Number 1. selling business magazine. Fast Company. Consider this: Adapting to chaos .. means being one step behind it. It means, when chaos comes, you adapt. At Innerewalth, we teach a similar but totally different approach. Instead of adapt to chaos, we share the skills of predicting it. In other words, the chaos is not chaos, it's just order people didn't expect. Competition, market trends, downsize, upsize, growth, shrink, it's all ordered chaos. And there's only one way to predict it and be one step ahead, Nature's Universal Law. Nothing escapes Nature's Universal Law. Not one star, not one atom or molecule, not one single relationship nor an athlete sprinting down the 100 meter final of the Olympic Games. Nature's Universal Laws define the order within the perceived chaos. Tap those laws and you will have control, second guess those laws and you'll be playing catch-up (adapting) for the rest of your working life. At Innerwealth, we define leadership as "one step ahead" - really if a leader can't see more order in the chaos than their team, they add little value and disharmony will become the team motto. A leader who sees more order in the chaos than their team adds value and therefore, leads. Routine is wonderful. We all love the constancy of routine. Especially if profits are good and feedback positive. But what if routine is your worst enemy. India just lost the Cricket test to Australia 4-0 because of routine. Roger Federer just got wiped out of the Australian Open tennis because of routine and President Obama might have made a real strategic mistake in his career because of routine.
