Do You Remember The Four Key Elements of Self-Leadership?

The distillation of the complex does not make it easier to do. In fact, by distillation we are forced to avert sidetracks that can feel fantastic even though they are a total waste of life, energy and time.

Helicopter View

A helicopter view of anything puts the power of results back in your hands. Any other view is superficial. The helicopter view is the distillation of the complex, but it does not make things easier to do. In fact, by distillation we are forced to avert sidetracks that can feel fantastic even though they are a total waste of life, energy and time. So, we are going to focus today on a helicopter view of self-leadership, or in more parochial language, looking after your best self.

Self care has four components:

  1. Build
  2. Store
  3. Stop Loss
  4. Direct

Build

Walking in nature, exercising, right food, posture, good breathing and right environment are the foundations of energy sources. But the key one is VIP... your vision, inspiration and purpose, or, in simpler talk, your goals.

Store

For the greater part energy stored is self-worth. The energy stored inside a human being is enormous, enough to light a city. But most untrained people prefer to discharge this store everyday, exhausting themselves in order to sleep at night. Our potential, like a battery, must be held and in a masterful way, directed.

Stop Loss

Language, fidgeting, worry, anxiety, fear, bad eating, alcohol, drugs, over exercise, emotion are just a few of the ways we leak energy out of our hands and into the atmosphere. Mostly wasted potential.

Directing

Energy must circulate to grow. Knowing where and why to direct our energy is a master stroke in personal development and self leadership. Clarity of vision, inspiration and purpose, chunking this down into daily to do's and more are the keys to this. Action is preferred to reaction.
