Hi girls and boys, once again, we're talking about a topic, which I think should be very, very interesting to you.
I hope so. At least the it's the topic of the real story of success, or another way to put it is the chemistry of success.
So we know up here is the most valuable real estate on earth. It's ours, we own it. We born with it and we're going to die with it.
And therefore it's got a lot to do with performance. If our Headspace is wrong, we lose. If you go into something thinking that you can't win it, you shouldn't be in it in the first place.
So I think a self-confidence I think the self-belief I think the ability to visualize yourself going to the front and winning, I think all of these things are within the realms of possibility of the human brain.
And we know that not that not always the most fit or the most healthy or the smartest or the most intelligent person wins in life.
It's sometimes the person with the most emotional intelligence, the most person with the most, self-belief the most ability to overcome obstacles and face challenges and not be immersed in our poison.
And the poison is doubt. So in our top of our brain, there are little weeds growing all the time. And those little weeds are called doubt and those little weeds grow on their own.
And what we need to do to get rid of weeds in our brain is exactly what we do in the garden.
We pull them out well, what we do as we have to plant something in the place of the weed, otherwise the weed grows back and this planting of things inside our brain is called self-awareness.
It's where we deliberately choose to think things that we would normally not think this is the absolute Mark of self-awareness.
Let's just have a look at this four things the brain is used for. You might think it's for storing memories and storing knowledge and storing things, but it's not.
It's it's, the brain is used to store energy and there are four things we need to do with the brain build energy, which is in a sense self-confidence, self-belief biological strength, physiological strength, all the different things that we would define as building energy.
We need to stop the waste of energy. And I'll talk about that at a little bit of length. We need to be able to hold on to that energy and store it rather than to build it up and then want to evacuated by orgasms or evacuated by blowing it out on on stress or blowing it out on being competitive when we don't need to be, we need to be able to hold onto that energy because that's called self-worth self-worth is in a sense in a wealth it's where we store energy.
We feel the power within us at school. In other words for it is self-confidence self-belief self-awareness self-trust and direct energy is, is about our in a sense our direction, what, what we want.
So you know what we want to achieve. So when we direct energy, if we direct energy like a torch and we have the torch going I want to have I want people to like me.
I want to have a happy breakfast. I want to have people think, and then down here is I want to have success.
The, because the energy gets distributed over so many objectives, it becomes light. But what we really want to do is create a really clear the line between where we are and what we want that has no distractions, no relationship, no stress, no insecurities, nothing distracts us from what we want.
And that's the goal. So building energy, how do you do it? The question then is what is, how do we stop the waste?
How do we store up energy with self worth? And how do we direct it? Let's just talk about it for a minute.
So we have a a pyramid like Mount Everest, and we have the ability on this map to store energy. We store it by setting up a routine, a daily routine, which doesn't falter.
We eat the same things we get up at the same time we go to work. At the same time, we have exercise.
We have certain rules and regulations for what we wear certain footwear. So we have a very strong sense of guide rules.
Now, if you were going to an event that would look like you having a list, the checklist of what your, what you need to check through before the event, and it has nothing to do with your psychology at this stage, you've probably got earphones on or you're in listening to music, but there's a checklist, you know, check your running shoes, check your or if it's work, check your computer, check that you've answered all your emails.
Check that you've invoiced people check that you've had a bit of exercise today. Check, check, check. These are checklists. And so this is a mechanism of storing up of building up energy.
So we store energy. We build energy by doing the basics by doing the basic fundamental, got two things in life you've got to have if you're playing tennis, you've got to have your racket in the car.
You've got to have a spare racket. You've got to have a ball. You've got to have warm up. You've got to loosen up your arms.
There are go tos. And doing those gods, those routines build a sense of storage. S they, they almost like charging your battery.
And we haven't even got into the world of thought yet to stop the loss of energy, which will come if we don't operate.
If we don't have a checklist, if we don't have a list of check things, if we start to question, we start to go now, what am I going to do?
Did I get everything right? Did I question? And we start to leak energy. So energy leaks, when we start saying, what should I do and what shouldn't I do?
And we don't have answers for it. Should I go to the left? Or should I ride my drive my car through that way?
Should I go here? Should I go there? And this shooting is where we start to lose energy, energy loss. And so a successful person has all their shoots in place as well.
I should do this and I shouldn't do that. And I should do this. And I should. They like fixed in concrete.
I should eat this. And I shouldn't beat that. And I should do this. And I shouldn't do that. Now that that is, there's a very fundamental things, but if we don't have them in place, we start to leak energy.
The next one is the storage, The storage of energy operates in the need and want, when we start to store energy up, we start to say, I I'm starting to F I S I know what I need, and I know what I want.
I'm starting to store the power in me. I know what I need, and I know what I want. I get in these, the words of like confidence, confidence belief in yourself, In a strength, All the words that really amount to knowing ourselves, knowing what we need and knowing what we want in our, our success, knowing what we want and knowing it really strongly starts to store up because when a person doesn't know what they want, and they get energy, they have to blow out what their energy, they party it or drink it away.
Or they are frittered away with nerves and stress. But if we know what we want, if we want to win, we want to go, well, we want to, we believe in ourselves, our energy stays strong.
So this is about storing The last piece of this pyramid, which is climbing to the summit of Mount Everest is where we direct our energy.
Now, if you've heard it, What about people being in the zone in a, in a sporting event or people who are on target and just go for it.
They're not worried about any of this lower level stuff, because it's all been taken care of way, way back. They've they've, it's basically, this is all unquestioned.
What they're sitting there and saying in their mind's eye is I'm on target. I'm on target. I'm on target. I'm target, I'm on target.
And this reinforcement loop, positive reinforcement loop is about directing your energy and reinforcing to yourself in your own mind that you're on target.
A great example of this is what happens to a person. If they feel like they're losing. For example, if we feel like we're not a champion, if you like, we're not a success.
If we feel like we're weak and the concept of being a loser, I'm not afraid of it in, in this concept of, of developing mind the mind strength, damn, But I am really afraid of it if we get stuck in it.
So the idea of let's say you're in a, you're a, in a, a race of some sort and something doesn't go, well, your, your, your shoelace comes on down, or your you're bump into somebody or you Chang comes off and you go pull me, or you're coming fifth, and you want to come third, but it looks like an insurmountable distance.
And we start to develop the chemicals of a loser. So lose a chemicals and lose a chemicals, are all the chemicals of depression of self-destruction their anger.
And we start to get very down on ourselves and lose it. Chemicals, leak, leak, energy. So we go all the way back to the picture.
We drew up here and say, we've got to stop the waste of energy. We've got to store energy in order to be able to direct that energy.
But if we get into the loser head space, all the energy we stored and all the energy we want to direct, and all the energy we built starts to leak out and it leaks into the gutter and it gets wasted in, in, in that way.
So it's really important to remember that we, we succeed not on the highs and not on the lows. So we might go, Oh, I did that really well.
You tick, tick, tick. And then we go, Oh shit, I did that really bad. Oh, I did that really well.
Oh, I did that really bad. But every time we do something that doesn't, isn't going as well as we wanted, the longer we stay in that space, we've got to go in that space because we that's, this is either side of the success line.
We've got to have things not go perfect. But if we go into sad face, Mr. Loser face, every time we go into a downer or something, doesn't go as we want it, or we get angry or we get pissed off.
What eventually happens is we leak energy in the cycle. So it's a w w w just before we head up into success, we leak energy.
And we lower the trajectory of our success line. And what happens is we start to oscillate either side of this line because we're leaking energy all the time.
And we don't get to experience the counter of it, which is the, the success that comes in a counterbalance to the downer.
So just be careful of Mr. , Mr. And Mrs. Sad face. When something doesn't go the way you want it before the race or during the race or after the race or at work or at home, don't present.
Mr. And Mrs. Sad face, it's a loser and a leaky energy. We can actually say, well, there's a challenge for me.
There's a challenge to overcome and challenge and support balance each other. So that's the real story of success is the ability not to achieve success.
You'll get that, but the ability not to leak energy when there's a bit of a downer going on, when you're frightened, when you're insecure, when you're scared.
So don't leak energy when things don't go the way you want them, or before the rest, just hold that commitment, hold that energy storing pattern, hold your routine, hold it fast and just go, yep.
That's me going in and out of of a vibration of holding energy. It goes in and out. We, we vacillate either side support and challenge.
So success as I've drawn here is, is, is it is a road. And either side of that road is support and challenge.
And so no matter what your field have that expectation. And when you get challenged, don't react, don't leak energy and being Mr.
Or Mrs. Sad face, hold the energy, sail through it and come out the other side with as much, if not more energy than you went into it with good luck.
I wish you all the best Bye for now.
